A workshop after closing time, one light still on

After Hours

An empty workshop, night
Nobody's watching. The work happens anyway.

Some of the most honest work in a workshop happens after the reason to be there has technically ended. No customer, no deadline, no one to perform for. Just whatever's still unfinished, and enough light to see it by.

This is less about hours than about attention. The kind that doesn't announce itself and doesn't need anyone else in the room to be worth doing properly.

The work doesn't know what time it is. That's usually when it's most honest.
